We are looking for a
Bookkeeper with Payroll knowledge, an eye for detail and a friendly demeanour This position is a part time or casual role based at our office in Carlton.

Your Responsibilities:

Accounts payable and receivables processinAdministration
Data entry, coding of suppliers and bank transactions
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, chattel mortgages and loans
Managing Debtors and Creditors for clients
Manage client payroll and employer obligations
Assist with the preparation of BAS and IAS returns
Manage employee files, training, and recruitment processes
Track revenue, expenses, and cash flow at a simple level
Manage and pay domestic and international invoices for clients; and maintain client payment relations.
Execute currency exchanges at optimal times

**Requirements: - Prior bookkeeping experience

Proficient with Xero
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
Excellent organisational skills
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency in English and in MS Office
Understanding of basic Media terminology (e.g. Lighting, Mixer, Set Design, XLR, Monitor, etc) OR Social Media jargon/terminology (e.g. DMs, Uploads, Posts, Analytics, Likes, Views, etc) OR Minecraft jargon/terminology (e.g. Maps, Mods, Blockbuster, Replay, etc)

Organisation is your second language, and no matter how big or small the information coming in is, you can organise it in a way that is easy to understand, easy to access and accurately reported.
