About the Role

Western Sydney University has established a Digital Acceleration strategic initiative, a set of coordinated culture, planning and technology shifts that enable new education, research and innovation and operating models.

The initiative is Western-focused and complex in nature, comprising around 50 infrastructure and software developments over a five-year period.

Information Technology and Digital Services is seeking to appoint a Program Manager - Digital Acceleration to be responsible for the overall integrity and coherence of the Digital Acceleration Program's activities, managing activities between multiple projects.

The Program Manager will develop a program environment supportive of Digital Acceleration delivery and use this in the management of the main program of works, giving detailed attention to program delivery strategy, project delegation and program implementation.

The role requires effective management of the suite of projects and management of their inter-dependencies including oversight of any risks and issues arising.

The role may also be responsible for the coordination and management of projects not formally part of Digital Acceleration, but which are highly strategic and/or supportive of Digital Acceleration.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position until 31 December 2025 located at Western's Hawkesbury (Richmond) Campus.

Remuneration Package:
HEW Level 9 $146,398 to $156,342 p.a. (comprising Salary of $123,708 to $132,111 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
