The Opportunity
We are seeking a Training & Development Coordinator to commence employment supporting our West Region Delivery Team.

This is a long term frameworks contract (capital works and maintenance program), delivering projects for Sydney Water across the western region of Sydney.


Being the first point of contact for training queries, you will be managing bookings, coordinating training courses and maintaining training records for employees across the WRDT project (both office and site-based staff).


You will be responsible for

  • Managing enrollments, bookings, coordinating training courses for employees across the project and provide outstanding customer service in all areas to support team within training
  • Scheduling and coordinating training services locally to provide support to our employees
  • Administrative activities
  • Relationship management between the project and training service providers
  • Assistance with invoicing and purchase orders for training services
  • Accurately and efficiently entering data into the relevant systems to ensure our employees and the project remain compliant with client and legal requirements
  • Organising and overseeing training resources, personnel, venues and equipment
  • Assisting management with training reporting requirements
  • Managing onboarding of team members into the relevant portals and systems from a compliance perspective
  • Ensure site based personnel are compliant and site ready
  • Ensuring that all certificates are entered into our project learning management system
  • Manage PPE for site based staff
  • Run the site based staff induction for new starters on a regular weekly occurring basis
  • Other requirements as requested by management on an asneeded basis

What we need from you

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills ability to interact with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
  • A minimum of 2 years training administration experience, ideally within the construction industry
  • Experience with training and compliance learning management systems, preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to maintain privacy and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Understand the importance of compliance
  • Reliable and ability to work well within a team
