About this role:


An architecture and urban design practice with a broad, international portfolio is seeking a Finance Assistant/Bookkeeper to join the team on a part-time basis.

This is a 2 day a week contract lasting approximately 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track company spending including purchases, invoices and sales
  • Provide accurate information on company spending
  • Manage sales ledger
  • Maintain accounts, verify and post transactions
- balance accounts on a day-to-day or week-to-week basis

  • Manage client invoices and payments
  • Work closely with accountants and prepare VAT returns
  • Prepare schedules, statements and reports as requested
  • Assist with administration as required

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an accounts department
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Excel
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Ability to communicate with colleagues in a professional manner
  • Experience in data base entry is desirable
