About the Opportunity:


As the
Marketing Manager at
Flight Safety Australia, you'll be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to promote the work of Flight Safety Foundation Limited and the Basic Aviation Risk (BARS) Program.

This includes managing online platforms, organising events, and generating content to enhance the organisation's visibility and further its mission in aviation safety.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead marketing strategy development and execution in collaboration with the Managing Director.
  • Manage website design and content, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for effectiveness.
  • Oversee social media platforms, setting measurable goals for branding and engagement.
  • Assist in planning and executing events to maximize outreach.
  • Develop and publish regular newsletters highlighting program achievements and safety initiatives.
  • Support the Managing Director in handling media inquiries and preparing relevant materials.
  • Document program concepts and issues for ongoing development.
  • Provide regular reports on marketing and media activities, including website traffic and social media engagement metrics.
  • Conduct research to identify opportunities for improving marketing effectiveness and brand awareness.
  • Undertake and report on special projects assigned by the Managing Director.
  • Support workforce professional development through training and knowledge sharing.
You are a passionate, strategically minded Marketing Manager that takes pride in your ability to turn ideas in action


In addition you have:

  • Proven experience working as a Marketing Manager (experience in aviation or related industry a plus.)
  • Familiar with web design, social media, and digital marketing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing campaigns with a focus on commercial strategy.
  • High attention to detail and organisation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software.
