About the Company

Davidson Technology are currently supporting a large Queensland State Government department looking for a ICT support engineer to join their team on an initial 2 month contract with possible extension until end of July 2023.

This role is an office based role, requiring you to be on-site 100% of the time.


About the Role

In this role, you will maintain the day-to-day operations of information technology for the business and ensure that the underlying technologies and systems run effectively, with responsibility for resolving any IT related faults quickly and efficiently or escalating as required.


About You
To be successful for the role, you will be able to demonstrate

  • Previous experience in IT Service Desk, Desktop Support, or general IT Support roles
  • Experience providing Level 2 3 Support in within an enterprise environment
  • Consistently provide up to date service notes during the lifecycle of a ticket with a strong emphasis of prioritisation and ticket management to the best of your skills and abilities
  • Manage full onboarding and offboarding of user accounts and equipment lifecycle management
  • Resolve technical problems with local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and other networking services
  • Installing, configuring and supporting computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, telephony, scanners and meeting room VC technology
  • Experience in the administration, management and troubleshooting of enterprise phone systems, mobile device management platforms (AirWatch), and MS O365 Administration activities (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Apps, and Yammer)

The Benefits
This contract role is offering a
