About the Role:

John Holland, operating under the banner Cross Yarra Partnership Asset Management Services (CYP AMS), is engaged to provide the asset management services as part of a PPP over a 24 year contract period for the Melbourne Metro Tunnel project.

CYP AMS is currently operating in its mobilisation phase, working with CYP Design & Construction Joint Venture (CYP D&C).

We are currently are looking to engage an Asset and Performance Manager to join the high performing team.

The role is a key leadership position and is responsible for the development, implementation and ongoing management of the asset management system, contract performance and compliance framework, including systems and processes, to ensure contract deliverables are met.

The role will facilitate establishment of the framework through co-ordinating input from specialists within the JH Corporate Business and Project Team.

During the Maintenance Phase the role will encompass responsibility for ongoing improvements of the asset management system, delivery of asset management and maintenance plans, performance reporting, Help Desk Services and provision of the Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Key Responsibilities:

Develop performance and compliance management framework, systems and processes to ensure contract deliverables and targets are met by drawing on specialist skills of the JH Team.
Develop and deliver asset management and contractual performance reports
Ensure that the project conforms with statutory, ISO 55001, and AS/NZS regulatory / legal requirements
Identify, manage and monitor performance objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project delivery
Provide guidance and support to the Maintenance Subcontract leadership team to develop and maintain a performance culture that drives business improvement
Implement robust risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline associated with quality implemented by HSEQ Lead
Ensure that the workplace understands and meets its regulatory and legal obligations as they relate to the contract
Work with corporate Asset Management System resources to obtain and maintain site certification to ISO 55001 under John Holland system umbrella. Implement compliance measures with ISO 9001, ISO140001 and AS4801 as related to asset and performance management
Manage client expectations and communicate effectively with the Maintenance Subcontract team
Work with the JH Team and relevant stakeholders to build the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring it supports the contract requirements. Monitor the use of the CMMS during the Maintenance Phase to ensure it is effectively utilised by the JH Team and stakeholders.
Recruit and develop the Services team to provide overall management of Technology, BMS, CMMS and Help Desk Services
Responsible for the overall integrity of the Performance Data ensuring that data captured is accurate and timely.
Provide leadership and mentoring to staff
Perform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedures
Develop, manage and maintain Maintenance Phase documentation.
Manage internal staff and external contractors to ensure compliance with requisite inductions, qualifications and work processes

What we are looking for:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Business, Facility Management, Quality Management, Project Management, Technology or related discipline.
Asset Management, Quality, safety and compliance experience gained within infrastructure/ transport or related industry.
Experience in similar role within an operational PPP be preferred but not essential.
Experience in developing and managing contracts, project QA management systems and asset management systems in a highly complex operating environment
Ability to understand, interpret and comply with contracts and contractual requirements
Improvement and Risk Management practices
Safety and Environmental Management experience
