ABOUT THE ROLE


The Technology Business Partner coordinates with the Technology, Projects, and Network Development divisions to define operational control management systems (OCMS) scope, resource requirements, solution estimates, and coordinate input and review of documentation early in the project lifecycle.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the business partner between OCMS and Project Development & Delivery teams through the project lifecycle
  • Responsible to ensure works from Development pipeline and in Project delivery are well understood in terms of technical scope, resourcing requirements and critical dates
  • Establish a process to provide transparent project pipeline inclusive of scope, cost estimates, and resource requirements. Ensure estimates adhere to governance procedures.
  • Support the development of MTM's Final Operational Requirements and Final Impact Statement, capturing OCMS maintenance advice to achieve safety, operability, and maintainability outcomes.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders across Architecture, Security, Governance and Compliance to ensure key decisions are understood and actioned

ABOUT YOU

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Project Management, or related field
  • Good understanding of IT project lifecycle and architectural principles
  • Experience working with technical teams to define requirements, scope, and consolidate outputs
  • Previous industry experience ideally in business engagement/partnership/account management roles within Technology
  • Experience with working in a technology, consulting, engineering or rail industry will be advantageous
