FOREMAN


Design & Build is seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Foreman, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing various construction projects.

With your expertise in carpentry and solid experience in the field, you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled craftsmen to ensure projects are executed efficiently, safety, to the highest standards and reporting to the Construction Manager.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction crews, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Provide hands on support and guidance to the team, assisting with carpentry tasks as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality control and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and other stake holders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
  • Monitor and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Oversee the ordering and tracking of materials, equipment, and tools required for each project.

You will have:

  • Proven experience as a Foreman or Supervisor role in the construction industry, preferably in Residential.
  • Strong background in Carpentry and a comprehensive understanding of construction practices.
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, good attitude and well presented.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers and team player.
  • Commitment to upholding safety standards and regulations.
  • Must have own vehicle and tools
