6-month temporary assignment- Based between Brisbane CBD and Northern Suburbs
About the business
people2people have partnered with a Queensland state government department who are looking for an experienced Change Manager to join their team for a 6 month temporary assignment.
About the role
Reporting to and working alongside the Branch Director, the purpose of the Change Manager is to effectively manage the change management activities related to the branch.
Your responsibilities will include- Creating and implementing organisational change management and communications strategies and plans
- Identify and engage with project stakeholders to assess the business impacts of the change in the areas of technology, organisational, people and processes
- Create change management strategy providing strategic and tactical advice
- Lead a small team of resources for the organisational change management training and communication activities required to support the implementation phase of the project if applicable
- Complete the initial complexity assessment to scope out the level of change required
- Coordinate all project communication activities, training plans & packages and training schedules
- Providing coaching and advice to senior leaders when required
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness
- Track and report risks and issues
- Other ad hoc tasks as required
Selection criteria
To be successful in this role you will have
- Recent and relevant experience within an endtoend Change Management position
- Have a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
