Your new role


As a Case Officer/Senior Case Officer, you will be undertaking case management for a range of reconsideration requests for all CSC administered schemes.

This will include the management of death and invalidity claims, as well as various superannuation benefit related matters.


This is a customer focused position that allows you to be part of a collaborative, hard-working, close knit team who are passionate about what they do.

In this position, you will manage your individual workload and reconsideration cases throughout the appeal process.

This means performing full investigations, collating evidence from customers, as well as compiling and drafting papers to be considered by the respective Reconsideration Committees.


What you'll need to excel

  • Ability to organise own work, set appropriate priorities and undertake work with limited supervision
  • Strong information gathering skills and written communication skills
  • Excellent administration and communication skills, with the ability to condense data and communicate in a clear, simple and effective way
  • Resilience and customer care, guiding our customers throughout the entire process with empathy and understanding, managing sensitive matters in a professional and effective way

The following skills and qualifications are desirable

  • Case management experience (carrying out investigations and assessments in a superannuation/ insurance claim environment)
