About the Role


The Clinical Manager is a new, pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and implementing Plus' Clinical Framework to achieve their vision to become a provider of choice and ensure high-quality outcomes for individuals with challenging behaviours.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the clinical team of Behavioural Support Practitioners and allied health professionals into a phase of growth.


In the role you will be responsible for;

  • Developing and implementing the Plus Clinical Framework.
  • Providing supervision and leadership to the clinical staff of Behaviour Support Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and/or other allied health professionals.
  • Providing supervision, training and clinical guidance to the clinical team that will also inform the clinical training framework for the wider staffing team at Plus.
  • Leading the development of the clinical participant/client pipeline, whilst managing a caseload.
  • Coordinating NDIS reporting requirements and accreditation, and ensuring all work delivered is in line with the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission.
  • Establishing strong working relationships with allied health professionals and other stakeholders

***To have success in the role you will be led by an ongoing willingness to learn and develop practice excellence across clinical services. You will enjoy collaborative working environments where there is a passion for improving the quality of life for people with disability.


You will also have:

  • Demonstrated people management experience
  • Behaviour Support practitioner registration, or be provisionally registered with the NDIS Commission at a proficient/advanced level.
  • Previous experience in similar program/support service delivery in the disability or similar sector.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and the needs of people with a disability.
  • Experience in relevant areas of practice with people who exhibit challenging behaviours, intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities, particularly in the area of risk management and reporting.
  • Understanding of working as a partner in the NDIA and NDIS planning processes.
  • Understanding of mental health and traumainformed practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, influence, and lead effective teams.
  • A valid Working with Children's Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker check and a full vaccination against COVID19, including booster.
