About the Role
The Clinical Manager is a new, pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and implementing Plus' Clinical Framework to achieve their vision to become a provider of choice and ensure high-quality outcomes for individuals with challenging behaviours.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the clinical team of Behavioural Support Practitioners and allied health professionals into a phase of growth.
In the role you will be responsible for;
- Developing and implementing the Plus Clinical Framework.
- Providing supervision and leadership to the clinical staff of Behaviour Support Practitioners, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and/or other allied health professionals.
- Providing supervision, training and clinical guidance to the clinical team that will also inform the clinical training framework for the wider staffing team at Plus.
- Leading the development of the clinical participant/client pipeline, whilst managing a caseload.
- Coordinating NDIS reporting requirements and accreditation, and ensuring all work delivered is in line with the NDIS Quality and Safeguard Commission.
- Establishing strong working relationships with allied health professionals and other stakeholders

You will also have:
- Demonstrated people management experience
- Behaviour Support practitioner registration, or be provisionally registered with the NDIS Commission at a proficient/advanced level.
- Previous experience in similar program/support service delivery in the disability or similar sector.
- Demonstrated understanding of the NDIS and the needs of people with a disability.
- Experience in relevant areas of practice with people who exhibit challenging behaviours, intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities, particularly in the area of risk management and reporting.
- Understanding of working as a partner in the NDIA and NDIS planning processes.
- Understanding of mental health and traumainformed practice.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, influence, and lead effective teams.
- A valid Working with Children's Check (WWCC), NDIS Worker check and a full vaccination against COVID19, including booster.
