The role of the
Assistant Director Clinical Liaison is to support the Director Client Assist and Director Clinical Operations, and lead a team delivering high quality liaison and escalation services to support Open Arms with responding to requests for information, escalations and liaison activities across Open Arms, the broader Department and the Ministers Office.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be an Australian citizen to apply.
  • Working with Children (WWCC) and/or Vulnerable People Checks/Clearance must be obtained prior to commencing in the position.

Mandatory

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to interpret, present and communicate data effectively.
  • Qualifications must be that of a Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, or Nurse with mental health experience.
  • Qualified Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Nurses must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA).
  • Mental Health Accredited Social Workers must be registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
