Our Metro Field Services team are looking for a Full Time
Technical Field Service Coordinator to join our busy team working a roster that best suits your lifestyle.

This role is from Mon to Fri with rotating start hours - 6am or 10am.


ABOUT THE ROLE


The objective of the
Technical Field Service Coordinator is to coordinate the service and repair of Caterpillar machinery to support our technicians in the 'front-line'.

Communication is paramount to ensure we provide the highest level of customer service and value for money to our valued customers, whilst adhering to our exceptional company standards.


A typical day in this role will include:

  • Manage a designated portfolio of clients across the Melbourne Metro region, providing sound technical advice and support
  • Schedule all service jobs for our technicians in the field
  • Frequently liaise with our technicians to obtain status reports to ensure updates are provided to our customers in a timely manner
  • Work directly with Supervisors and Service Manager to ensure work planning is optimised
  • Day to day invoicing and work in progress responsibilities

We are looking for a self-starter with the following attributes:

  • Exceptional mechanical knowledge (preferable with caterpillar equipment)
  • Trade certificate in mechanical trade highly regarded
  • Excellent verbal communication and rapportbuilding skills
  • Terrific listener with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Experience providing an empathetic approach with a calm disposition.
  • Proven conflict resolution abilities under pressure.
  • The skills to work in an office of fast changing priority.
  • Experience in heavy machinery or automotive.
  • Experience in the following computer systems DBS, SAP, QWB, Outlook, SIS, Cognos, ChemWatch will be highly regarded (but not essential).
  • Must have strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • Willing to go the extra mile to get a "winning" result for all.
