About the role


We currently have an opportunity for a proactive Support Worker to provide individualised and tailored practical supports for women, children and young people in refuge and crisis accommodation, who have experienced and/ or are currently experiencing family violence.


This position is instrumental in delivering high quality, safe and effective family violence and child well-being responses to those seeking support, safety, and recovery.

The role consists of casual rostered hours of work including sleepover, days, weekends and public holidays.

About You


With degree or working towards a qualification in social work, welfare or psychology, you have demonstrated experience in assessment and risk management, safety planning and crisis accommodation support.

You thrive working autonomously and in a dynamic team environment, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.

You will be a values driven person, motivated to make a difference and hold the client at the centre of everything you do.
