United Wambo Joint Venture (UWJV) is a 50:50 joint venture between Glencore and Peabody. UWJV is a Glencore managed, open-cut operation producing up to 10 million ROM tonnes per annum.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintainer - Electrical to join our dynamic and successful team.

As a valued member of the team and reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor, this multifaceted role will see you undertaking repair and maintenance of equipment and electrical infrastructure including 789-08A Caterpillar Haul Trucks and D11-T4 Final Dozer, performing fault finding and diagnostic work as well as carrying out scheduled and preventative maintenance activities within cost and time parameters.

You will also support the team to deliver cost effective and reliable performance against the key deliverables defined by the maintenance plan.

To be successful in this role, you are a motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic team environment.

As a qualified Electrician with experience in the Mining industry, you will be passionate about driving continuous improvement of equipment performance and have proven experience in troubleshooting and fault finding on a variety of equipment and electrical infrastructure.


It is essential that you have a proficiency certificate (issued by State Training Services) in an electrical trade or equivalent qualification with previous experience working on heavy earth moving equipment.
