Infrastructure Systems Engineer (Sydney or Melbourne):

Our project team is expanding rapidly, and we are currently seeking Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team in either the Sydney or Melbourne office.

The role is a fantastic opportunity for exposure to enterprise-level operational processes, monitoring toolsets and leading-edge technology delivery.


Role Overview:

• Design, Implement and troubleshoot IT Infrastructure (remote and onsite), including servers, network infrastructure and cloud platforms.
• Consult and deliver projects utilising a wide variety of leading enterprise grade technologies.
• Work within a team to support broad and varied systems from leading vendors.
• Liaise with the customers on a regular basis, including issue resolutions and take input regarding business requirements.
• Work closely with leading vendors on latest best practices, projects, and training opportunities.

Experience installing and configuring the following is required:

• Compute (Blade / Rackmount / Hyperconverged)
• Storage
• Virtualization
• Backup / Replication

Experience with the following vendors are highly desirable but not mandatory:

• Cisco UCS / Dell Compute
• Cisco HyperFlex
• VMWare vSphere / NSX
• Microsoft Hyper-V
• Commvault / Cohesity
• NetApp / Pure / Dell Storage
• Nutanix
• AWS / Azure / Google

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Linux Specialisation (Melbourne):


Role Overview:

Our project team is expanding rapidly, and we are currently seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with a specialisation in Linux to join our team in our Melbourne office.

The role initially will be a 6-month placement with one of our flagship customers, your role will play a vital part in influencing Lifeblood's strategic technology roadmap by investigating, reviewing and analysing new technologies to Lifeblood that can provide an operational or business benefit, and providing input into architecture and strategies developed by Lifeblood's Architectural practice.

Once the placement with Lifeblood is finalised, you will form a critical part of our delivery team, working across exciting and diverse projects for our other clients across the Corporate Enterprise, Health, Education, and Government space.

You will be required to deliver the following as part of your role:

• Consult and deliver projects utilising a wide variety of leading enterprise grade technologies.
• Work within a team to support broad and varied systems from leading vendors.
• Liaise with the customers on a regular basis, including issue resolutions and take input regarding business requirements.
• Work closely with leading vendors on latest best practices, projects, and training opportunities.

Education Requirements:

• Degree in Information Technology, or equivalent
• Industry Certifications: ITIL foundation, AWS, Azure

Experience/Skills Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work full time in Australia.
• 4+ Years professional IT experience in similar role.
• Proven experience in implementing and supporting complex solutions within an Enterprise IT Environment.
• Experience in developing technical design documentation including high

- and low-level designs.

• Experience with Cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
• Experience with administration of the following Operating Systems; Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x/9.x
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and scripting (PowerShell, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Terraform)
• Experience with supporting HPE Blades/Enclosures, Cisco UCS & Hyperconverged Infrastructure.
• Demonstrated organisational skills, planning, and ability to exercise judgement to make decisions.
• Outcome focused, with strong emphasis on delivering high quality customer service.
• Have the ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to a nontechnical audience.
