Due to an internal promotion this exciting opportunity will see you join our clients' fantastic collections team where you will start your finance journey by building a career in a rapidly growing firm.

With great employee initiatives as a Collections Officer some of your responsibilities will include:


  • Conduct outbound and inbound passive collections calls
  • Take end to end accountability for accounts which are assigned to you
  • Identify customers experiencing financial hardship
  • Understand & comply with all regulatory requirements & quality standards
  • Liaise with customers providing excellent customer service finding the best solution
  • Identify & recommend customers for alternative collection activities repossessions & legal action

You will demonstrate the following:

  • Previous experience in a collections role or a banking, credit or customer service role in the finance sector
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
  • You will display a willingness to go above and beyond for the customer
  • Solutions focused and the ability to make decisions to resolve customer financial situations
  • Works well in a fastpaced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and manage expectations
  • A proficient user of technology with strong computer skills in MS Office Suite
  • Display high standard of confidentiality & diplomacy in dealing with sensitive matters
