Cyber Security is part of the Technology business unit at Commonwealth Bank.

The Cyber Security team protects the bank and our customers from theft, losses and risk events, through effective and proactive management of cyber security, privacy and operational risk.

Your Responsibilities
As a Supplier Security Consultant, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting security assessments to evaluate the design and effectiveness of security controls for CommBank's suppliers and partners.
Identifying and documenting supplier security risks, and providing advice on managing findings through issue remediation.
Providing reports and insights on findings from security assessments.
Contributing to the contract negotiation process with suppliers regarding security requirements clauses.
Participating in continuous improvement activities related to the Group's supplier and data governance processes.

What You Will Need to Succeed

Risk Mindset:

All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify, understand, discuss, and act on current and future risks.

Ability to explain risk fundamentals and communicate cyber risks to business stakeholders.
Understanding of cyber security from previous roles, preferably involving thirdparty assessments.
Experience in security compliance, supplier security, or other cyber security roles.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF and the ISO 27000 series is desirable.
