About the Role


An exciting part time opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our leadership team as a Quality Coordinator.

Permanent Part-time role, 3 days per week.

The right person will be highly motivated to drive systems and processes in a culture of continuous improvement.

Based at our Milsons Point central office and reporting through to the Group Operations and Risk Manager, the Quality Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Coordinates our obligations, and ensures compliance with reporting requirements, under the National Quality Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program
  • Coordinates continuous improvement systems and processes to assess, monitor, improve and innovate the quality and safety of the care and service provided including the experiences of consumers
  • Champions a culture of quality and excellence and supports Facility Managers to maintain the highest quality of care and safety

What you will need:


  • Minimum of one year experienced as a Quality Coordinator in the Aged Care industry or in a comparable role/industry (or similar)
  • Registered Nurse with APHRA registration
  • A sound understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
  • A sound understanding of the National Quality Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program
  • A sound understanding of auditing techniques and methods
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, attend to multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills; high level interpersonal skills
  • Advanced skills in data collection, recording and analysis and problem solving
  • The ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team
  • Strong / Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook (essential); Leecare desirable
  • Current Police Check / NDIS Screening Check
  • Vaccinations in accordance with Government requirements

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 22.5 per week


Salary:
$90, $90,001.00 per year
