About the role:


As an TL - School Education, you will market and coordinate the Water Corporation's Waterwise Schools Program across Western Australia.


The team's role is to educate and inspire young people across WA, empowering them to make waterwise choices for a positive collective impact on our future.

The program is tightly aligned to the WA school curriculum for both primary and secondary schools.


You will manage the incursions program, assist with the organisation's overall water efficiency objectives with schools and provide, engage and contribute to the Water Corporation's wider water education initiatives across the State.


What the role will involve:


  • Manage, grow and administer the Water Corporation's Waterwise Schools Program across the state.
  • Ensure that the Waterwise Schools Program performance achieves business objectives.
  • Develop strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the Waterwise Schools Program and incursions to optimise the return on investment.
  • Create content for programs and resources and lead the continuous improvement of education program initiatives.
  • Develop and implement communications strategies and tactical plans to support the Waterwise Schools Program internally and externally.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and content associated with the Program are up to date and in line with Water Corporation's brand print.
  • Produce draft media releases and feature articles and supporting briefing notes.
  • Provide professional development to WA Schools on the Waterwise Schools. Program and current water issues.
  • Ensure the Waterwise Schools Program is embedded in the organisation.

Key skills and experience:


  • Degree level qualification in an Education related discipline or an appropriate equivalent tertiary qualification
  • Considerable experience in similar customer education role managing, leading and developing subordinate members of a team.
  • Welldeveloped knowledge and capability relating to education providers and teachers
  • Good presentation skills
  • High organisational and planning skills
  • Demonstrates the values and Leadership behaviours that contribute to a constructive, highperformance culture.
  • Can work independently in a highpressure environment
