The role
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and hard-working person to join our Adbri Masonry team based in Stapylton, Queensland.
We have an opportunity in the production of quality Masonry products as part of a company which strives to maintain its position as a market leader.
This full-time permanent role will require you to be flexible and be available for day or afternoon shifts with the possibility of weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Ensure safety, health and environment standards are maintained
- Follow correct work procedures at all times
- Operation of forklifts for the movement of goods to/from the work area
- Quality Assurance and packaging of outgoing goods
- Ensure yard and inventory is maintained in a neat and orderly fashion
- Following established procedures for documenting and/or reporting work performed, hazards and incidents
- Support the production team including general labouring duties and basic machine operation
- Basic maintenance of forklifts, plant and equipment in the work area
- General housekeeping and cleaning
What you will need to succeed
- Exhibit a strong commitment to safety, environment, quality, health and wellbeing
- Possess a proactive and positive attitude
- Selfmotivation and a willingness to learn
- Ability to communicate confidently and work in a team
- Ability and desire to multiskill and perform various production role tasks
- Forklift High Risk License
