What will your role be?


There will be requirements within this role to travel to our Mr Black site in Wyong as well as to our manufacturing site in Huntingwood.


As our Health, Safety and Environment Coordinator for our Mr Black site, you will ensure compliance to internal and external HSE requirements and implement programs, policies and procedure in line with risk management and organisational change processes.

In this role you will work with partners of all levels and influence cultural change across the organisation. Further, you will support other areas of the business as required particularly data analysis for the function. You will be based within a team comprised of a number of experts in their field. The team are primarily based in Huntingwood, Sydney and Bundaberg QLD.

*Please note this is a 12-month fixed term contract*What does this role look like for you?

  • Management of the health safety, environment and injury management systems including risk registers, risk assessments, safety promotion, safety assurance and policies;
  • Support the MR Black Operational Management team with implementation and training of HSE initiatives;
  • Participate in the injury management program and return injured employees to work and assist with insurance agencies and brokers;
  • Support the Huntingwood and Field Sales Business with data input and analysis;
  • Ensuring compliance to NSW state WHS/Environmental legislation and acts and compliance with corporate standards, aims and objectives;
  • Manage injury management budgets and HSE budgets of Mr Black;
  • Liaise with 3rd parties, customers and key collaborators to ensure business needs are met; and
  • Support other Diageo businesses such as Huntingwood and Bundaberg distillery as required.
So, what about you?

  • Demonstrated experience in HSE Coordinator role ideally in manufacturing, transport or logistics;
  • Formal qualification in Work Health and Safety;
  • Sound understanding of Safety Management Systems and risk management frameworks;
  • Return to Work credentials and experience is advantageous;
  • Work in hazardous areas is advantageous; and
  • Experience in sustainability or environmental management is desirable.
