As Manager, Security Operations you will:

Lead a review of QSS cyber and information security arrangements and oversee the development and implementation of an action plan to improve the organisation's cyber and information security maturity.
Implement the Australian Signals Directorate Cyber Security Essential 8 Framework within QSS including ongoing review and monitoring.
Take a leadership and mentoring role within QSS and the broader Information Security function across the Queensland Government Customer and Digital group.
Ensure effective and efficient delivery of and ensure effective and efficient delivery of cyber and information security services and functions, ensuring endtoend connectivity of QSS services and any associated risks are managed.
Ensure good governance and documentation of processes by team members.
Build collaborative relationships with all stakeholders associated with the cyber and information services provided by your team and strive for mutually beneficial outcomes.
Lead and support the going vulnerability scanning program with QSS.
Represent QSS and its interests on matters of cyber and information security and develop and maintain partnerships with other professionals across industry and the department to share information in the discovery of innovation.
Lead and support innovation and improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
Lead and actively promote a culture that supports and values staff.
