The Role

What You'll be Doing

  • Support with risk management across the business and continuing to embed risk management into our culture and business:
  • Risk identification, risk assessment/analysis, process flow and controls assessment, documentation and reporting
  • this will be done working closely with senior risk colleagues and partnering with business stakeholders, and will include facilitating discussion and workshop sessions;
  • Assist with the identification of key risk indicators and maintain regular monitoring and reporting of indicators as required;
  • Proactively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of risk management frameworks, strategies and methodologies;
  • Assist with continuing to embed risk management into our culture and ways of working
  • Support with compliance management across the business:
  • Work closely with the Legal team and other SMEs to maintain compliance registers;
  • Partner with internal business stakeholders and support their management of compliance obligations;
  • Support with the development of Operational Compliance Plans and ongoing maintenance of OCPs this includes proactively engaging with business stakeholders to ensure OCPs are up to date and are actively used by the business;
  • Monitor compliance training and education for team members, including reporting on training completion rates; and
  • Business (Line 1) partnering become a trusted partner for risk and compliance management for key parts of Endeavour's business e.g.
Dan Murphy's or endeavourX, work closely with these business unit's leadership teams, support their risk and compliance management strategies and enable uplift in capabilities across their teams:


  • Proactively build effective relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders and develop a strong understanding of the business, its purpose and strategy;
  • Analytics and reporting:
- work closely data analytics specialists and business partners to identify, develop, test and report on controls monitoring;
- support business partners in the review of results, analysis and improvement of processes and controls; and
- preparation of various forms of reporting for a broad range of stakeholders at all levels of management;

  • Assist the management of complaints lodged via grievance/whistleblower platform:
  • Support the monitoring and coordination of the management of complaints by relevant business stakeholders and SMEs; and
- analysis and preparation of reports in relation to complaints lodged


About You

  • 3 years of experience working within a risk compliance or assurance role in a consulting/advisory firm or established corporate function

OR

  • 5 years of blended retail/consumerfacing business operational/functional management experience with significant involvement in risk/compliance/assurance management as part of those roles
  • Technical skills in / knowledge of risk management fundamentals including risk and controls assessment and business process reviews
  • Experience with the preparation of internal reports
  • Tertiary qualification in business/commerce or other relevant discipline
