About the Opportunity:Situated on 6.5 hectares of waterfront beauty and an additional 40 hectares of adjoining bushland, CRU's Lake Macquarie site is a haven for those who love the outdoors. As a Property Assistant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and preparing camp facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for campers to grow in their faith.

• General maintenance and upkeep of the bushland and bivouac site.
• Ground keeping duties including lawn mowing, gardening, maintenance of bush walking tracks.
• Repairs and maintenance tasks like basic plumbing, painting, carpentry.
• Procuring site consumables and equipment.
• Maintenance of the site's boat fleet and associated infrastructure.
• Upkeep of activity equipment, like the climbing tower and the mission impossible course.
• Support for water activities, like refueling safety boats and fixing sailboats.
• Operation and maintenance of security systems across all areas of the site.
• Supporting other areas of operation as needed.

Requirement:

• Passion for working outdoors and maintaining facilities.
• Trade qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Ability to perform various maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
• All applicants must have work eligibility in Australia and hold a Working with Children Check (or be ready to apply for one).
