About the Opportunity:

Situated on 6.5 hectares of waterfront beauty and an additional 40 hectares of adjoining bushland, CRU's Lake Macquarie site is a haven for those who love the outdoors.

As a Property Assistant, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and preparing camp facilities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for campers to grow in their faith.

General maintenance and upkeep of the bushland and bivouac site.
Ground keeping duties including lawn mowing, gardening, maintenance of bush walking tracks.
Repairs and maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, painting, carpentry
Procuring site consumables and equipment.
Maintenance of the site's boat fleet and associated infrastructure.
Upkeep of activity equipment, such as the climbing tower and the mission impossible course.
Support for water activities, including refuelling safety boats and repairing sailboats.
Operation and maintenance of security systems across all areas of the site.
Supporting other areas of operation as required.

Requirement:

Passion for working outdoors and maintaining facilities.
Trade qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
Ability to perform various maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
