Great organisation in the centre of metro Sydney needs a Contractor to play a critical role around release and deployment of systems.

This is a contract role till the end June'23 and offers a hybrid office/WFH environment.


The role will see you:


  • Work with change management during approval process,
  • Plan the release lifecycle and manage risks for releases
  • Communicate plans to CAB and vendors (especially around any clashes)
  • Monitor the progress of deployments
  • Establish the release process (e.g AWS DevOps release note, or JIRA release note).
  • Planning and orchestrate provisioning of endtoend environments (SIT, UAT, PRE-PROD, PRODUCTION)
  • Forward plan the release windows and solution increments to be tested, while managing risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews

You will bring to the role:

  • Previous experience working as a Release and Deployment Manager
  • Great communication skills, a confident manner and the ability to run workshops and lead group discussions
  • Knowledge of SAFe Agile framework will be treated as a plus
  • Proof of COVID vaccination
  • Willingness to undergo a Police check
