The Role
The opportunity is with the Forms Development and Digitisation team of Directorate of Digital Service Delivery.
This team is responsible for monitoring performance and identifying improvements of digital services, specifically the design, build, testing and hosting of web forms and future web forms across Defence.
If you are interested, have experience with JavaScript, HTML, or AEM, Azure/DevOps and PEGA tools, and enjoy working alongside Industry Partners to ensure delivery of important programs and products is achieved within agreed timeframes, then this is the role for you.
Come for the job, stay for the experience.The duties of the APS5 Business Engagement and Forms Designer include:
- Develop test artefacts and supporting data using provided specifications and perform moderately complex activities and tasks to test behaviour, functionality and integrity of systems or software under routine direction from supervisor.
- Perform, analyse and document test results in accordance with established plans and procedures.
- Use experience to identify and report issues and risks when conducting testing.
- Utilise knowledge of the software, system and testing methodologies to perform software and hardware testing.
- Build and sustain effective working relationships with team members and actively participate in team work and group activities.
- Engage with relevant stakeholders and understand their expectations and concerns.
- Interpret requirements and execute moderately complex tests, recording and reporting outcomes.
- Resolve problems using expertise, taking the initiative to identify alternative courses of action.
- Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of the test environment in accordance with established plans and procedures.
