Working within a kitchen, Breakfast Catering Team Members play an active role in connecting with community members within a safe, hygienic and healthy environment.

The role assists with preparing and serving food under the guidance and support of the Catering Team Leader. An ideal role for those who enjoy preparing meals, coaching others and working as a team alongside community members.


Corps (Church) / Centre facility Men's Events: A variety of men's events (eg breakfasts) are held regularly throughout the year.

  • Key responsibilities
  • Meal preparation and service: With guidance and instruction from the Breakfast Catering Team Leader, prepare and serve meals according to community member requests

Set up and clean up:

With a keen eye for neatness and hygiene, Team Members assist with initial set up, clearing of tables, pack up, wash up and waste disposal.

Qualifications and skills (desired/required)- Experience in food preparation, handling and service Relevant food handling qualifications as required by local council authorities Interest in working with community members who are seeking connection and social supportCapabilities and personal attributes- Manage Self: Shows personal motivation and commitment to completing work activities effectively; maintains own motivation when tasks become difficult; regulates own behaviour and responds appropriately in all circumstances.
