As the Principal Technical Specialist (Automation), you have a customer-centric approach to your work and are passionate about leading a high performing group of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) that are committed to improving business practices through automation and the optimisation of workflows.

Here are some of the activities you can expect to be doing:

  • Lead the analysis, technical design and implementation of solutions with a strong focus on automation, workflow optimisation and integrations
  • Liaise with stakeholders across TMR, including Architecture Teams to understand the structure, policies and operations of TMR and recommend solutions that assist in achieving organisational outcomes
  • Work with Business Analysts and Reporting Team to identify opportunities and build a pipeline of actionable projects
  • Interpret business requirements and translating those into functional, technical and non-functional specifications, as necessary
  • Influence and provide expert technical advice and leadership to technical operational, project teams and key decision makers relating to automation and operational, project teams and key decision makers relating to automation and workflow optimisation
  • Provide technical support across existing and future operational platforms and integrations within the Technology environment, ensuring timely and appropriate response to automated workflow issues that are reported by stakeholders.
  • Maintain an automation capability roadmap, identifying opportunities to develop and enhance the technical solutions and supporting processes within the operational toolset

Ensure appropriate change management is conducted, including documentation and communication to the support teams and relevant stakeholders About you: With experience in establishing enterprise automation, you exhibit customer empathy & a keen interest in the continuous improvement of the business practices.

You're driven, committed and passionate about what you do and have experience providing business improvement through project management, Agile, design thinking or business analysis.

You are pro-active and solutions focussed, leading your team to provide advice on business solutions, while maintaining stakeholder relationships across the department and externally.


What success looks like:

Using your extensive experience managing high performing teams & a certification in either Microsoft, Amazon Web Services or Service Now, you will assist TMR to implement and maintain enterprise automation and workflow optimisation.

You will do this by actively leading your team to contribute to the continuous improvement & promote the teams services along with maintaining stakeholder relationships with key strategic business partners.
