Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Program Manager (Security) to work with State Government Department - 5 months daily rate contract.
Key Accountabilities -
- Manage the delivery of the corporate Information Communication Technology (ICT) program of works as approved by the Strategic Leadership Team to meet strategic business and technical drivers and ensure compliance with relevant strategies, standards, policies and procedures.
- Keep abreast of and respond to all program project executions, progress to plan and production of major deliverables, intervening when necessary to review the current state and direct adjustments to plans and executions.
- Effectively lead, manage, motivate and develop a multidisciplinary team comprising DoT and contracted employees, ensuring employees have the capacity and capability to achieve agreed deliverables.
- A high degree of emotional intelligence to navigate complex and dynamic environments where conflicting and changing priorities need to be catered for.
Key Selection Criteria -
- Ability to strategically plan, manage, monitor and evaluate the delivery of high value, high profile and complex ICT programs to achieve planned outcomes.
- Ensures compliance within the workgroup with all budgeting, financial, resource and asset management requirements across the whole of the investment life cycle.
- Motivates, mentors, coaches and develops teams of project delivery professionals to achieve business outcomes.
- Develop and implement systems, frameworks and processes for improved project and program management within the business area.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of governance, procurement and delivery financial models.
- Ability to employ collaborative practices with a diverse range of people for mutually agreeable business outcomes.
- Exceptional stakeholder relationship management skills including the ability to negotiate and influence decisions at senior leadership levels both internally and externally.
Qualifications
- Mandatory
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Professional qualification in Prince2, MSP or Agile project delivery
- Experience relevant to the capabilities of the role
