About the Role:


You will have the opportunity to work in a close-knit team and help shape our admin/accounting structures to support our continued growth.


Project work:


As the sole accounts person in our growing company, you will play a critical role in our transition from Micronet to Xero accounting software.

You will be our person on the ground, working closely with our external accounting team to ensure a smooth transition.

In addition to your other responsibilities, you will be responsible for overseeing the transition and ensuring that all our accounting processes and procedures are accurately transferred to Xero.

You will be a natural problem solver; who genuinely cares about people.

As you provide general HR administrative support to business key stakeholders, you will be responsible for the generalist HR activities to support the management team.


Day to Day:

  • Office Management
  • Managing the Schedule of the Managing Director
  • Booking in cleaners
  • Ordering supplies
  • You may be required by our external accountants to assist in general bookkeeping activities including; Producing and analysing monthly/annual financial accounts
  • Managing and reconciling bank accounts and cash flows, Maintaining a small staff payroll and commissions, Accounts payable & receivable
  • Data entry
  • Bank & GL reconciliations
  • International transfers, dealing with import tax & deferred GST
  • Assisting with all documents supporting imported goods, Superannuation & BAS reporting
  • Processing credit card data
  • HR Office work
  • Triage ER/IR issues, ensuring compliance and provide key stakeholders with support to reach desirable outcomes.
  • Manage HR Inbox and attend to HR enquiries including all change of employment requests.
  • Maintain local HR policies, procedures, and templates inline with business updates, local legislative requirements, and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures as required.
  • Provide HR Generalist support on various HR related matters.
  • Ensure people compliance and minimizing IR risk.
  • Identify opportunities to ensure continual improvements to people systems, processes and procedures.

About you:

Salary:
From $65,000.00 per year
