About The Role:


Our Learning and Development Officer is responsible for the training and assessment of employees focusing on classroom training, driving skills and assessing potential employees.

In this role, no two days are the same. The diversity of tasks in the role are varied based on the relevant project and business needs.

The role includes but is not limited to:

  • Scheduling and administration of training bookings.
  • Developing and coordinate the corporate induction program.
  • Facilitating effective, interactive group training by creating a positive learning environment
  • Researching and utilising new learning and development content, methods and materials for training
  • Create and maintain a training needs analysis to identify gaps between current skill, competency levels and required skill levels in consultation with team leaders.
  • Monitor the ongoing progress of employees who are undertaking training courses to ensure they are supported and will successfully complete such courses.
  • Working both autonomously and within a team environment to achieve KPI's and excellent training outcomes.
  • Assist in the design and development of career pathways within the organisational structure
  • Promoting team engagement via promoting different team building activities

Desired Skills and Experience:


  • Competent in Microsoft Suite products, specifically, MS word, PPT, Excel
  • Previous experience in the delivery of training, assessment and mentoring.
- _Ideally_ Experience in the development of workshop-based end-user training materials and documentation.

  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to strategic organisational development initiatives including but not limited to employee engagement, skills, culture and capacity building.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • High level of written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience administering an online Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with training providers, employees and trainees in order to effectively deliver training objectives and learning outcomes for both the

$60, $70,000.00 per year
