About the Role

They are currently seeking a Contracts Manager to join their growing team located in Parramatta with the flexibility to work remotely from home.

This is an estimated 6-months temp assignment, strong potential to extend


Reporting to the Director, you will be required lead the delivery of programs, providing strategic and program management oversight and support to achieve organisational objectives.


Responsibilities

  • Lead program delivery
  • Develop and implement appropriate governance and risk frameworks, performance measures, assessment tools and reporting standards
  • Track, monitor and report on deliverables to ensure effective governance from inception to completion
  • Scope, develop and deliver programs, partnering with key stakeholders, embedding best practice
  • Manage the appropriate allocation of funding support for peak committees, business chambers and industry bodies
  • Provide expertise to Senior Executives and Ministers on program deliverables
  • Preparation of documentation including ministerial briefs, speaking notes, correspondence and reports
  • Foster and develop strategic stakeholder relationships

About You

  • Demonstrated Leadership or Management experience
  • Policy, Project, Procurement and Contract Management experience
  • Proven experience working with complex contracts
  • Experience in designing programs to achieve environmental outcomes
  • Public Sector experience
  • Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise competing deadlines
  • Solid analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite

Requirements:


  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Reliable remote internet access to work remotely from home
  • Fully COVID Vaccinated or Medical exemption
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
