MARS Recruitment are delighted to be collaborating with a globally listed financial services organisation, who are looking for a talented and driven professional to join their team in the role of Strategic Business Specialist.

This is a truly strategic role supporting the business to review, analyse and propose solutions to complex business decisions, including mergers and acquisitions.

They are looking for a passionate specialist who driven and resilient, who has exceptional communication and collaboration skills. You must be able to show initiative and maintain confidentiality. This is a newly created role supporting the growth aspirations of the company.

The Responsibilities:

Gather and analyse data to identify business problems and opportunities
Develop and implement datadriven solutions to complex business problems
Perform analytical review of potential investment and divestment proposals across Australia & New Zealand
Conduct feasibility analysis on capital expenditure, investments, and divestments
Perform financial analysis and construct models to support future sustainability of the business
Assist in identifying opportunities for improvements in commercial arrangements
Communicate findings and recommendations to senior management
Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across the organization
Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends and technologies

The Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
At least 8 years of experience as a business analyst or in a similar role
Strong analytical skills, including experience with data analysis tools such as SQL and Excel
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence is essential

To Note:

They operate a flexible hybrid working model
Ability to read, write and speak fluently in Japanese is required
Only Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this role
