Opportunity to assist in the development and maintenance of a special library's electronic environment, ensuring it is responsive and relevant to user needs across Victoria and that electronic content is accurate, current and accessible on a 24 hour, 7 days per week basis.
This environment currently includes a website which is the library's primary access portal to online legal research databases and other eresources, eLearning modules, research guides, Ezproxy authentication and ILS.
The Digital Library Specialist works with library staff, courts staff, content and systems vendors to support website maintenance and development, configuration and management of online resources, manage Ezproxy and ILS configuration and ensure the seamless delivery of digital services to Library users
To be considered for this contract you will need a combination of some or all of these requirements
Demonstrated experience in the provision of effective technologybased information delivery services, strategies and training, ideally within a legal and/or library environment
Experience working with Drupal or WordPress CMS, H5P, HTML,
Familiarity working with library identity and access management systems
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Librarianship or a related discipline, and eligibility for Associate (professional) membership of the Australian Library Information Association.
Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in Information Technology or related disciplines
