Hunter Valley Private Hospital is currently seeking a Part-Time (68.4 hours per fortnight) Prosthesis Coordinator with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to join our team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the overall activity associated with ordering and billing of theatre prosthetics and rebatable items.

Hunter Valley Private Hospital is located on the fringe of Newcastle and is close to the Pacific Motorway, vineyards and university.

The hospital is an 83-bed hospital which offers a variety of surgical, rehabilitation and medical services. HVPH is committed to providing a workplace culture that respects, supports and rewards staff members.

Desirable Criteria:

Previous experience in ordering and billing of theatre prosthetics and rebatable items
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel
Exceptional communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work as an individual
Medical terminology desirable
