Permanent full time position

Based in Southbank (or other main base considered)

The Role:

As a Safety Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in carrying out high value operational safety investigations and provide recommendations to ensure our customers and people are safe.

The position is based in Brisbane Head Office in Southbank and, you will work closely with the Manager, Safety Assurance.

As a Safety Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for:

Carry out safety investigations for internal and external stakeholders
Complete technical reports and provide analysis as requested
Provide input to further develop assurance processes, procedures, and work instructions
Identify potential and actual risk to operations and work with stakeholders to minimise risk
Support divisional leadership teams on matters related to safety assurance

What we are looking for:

A genuine passion for customer experience and people safety.
Operational experience as a Pilot
Formal qualifications in safety or human factors
Demonstrated ability to influence and build long term stakeholder relationships
Exceptional problem solving skills coupled with the ability to prioritise multiple deadlines
