The Role

We have a number of opportunities for experienced and highly motivated Administration Team Leaders to work within the Defence Aviation Safety Authority Headquarters to provide command and business support to enable Defence Aviation Safety Authority Executives to effectively plan, direct and control our operations; and to provide administrative support and services to Authority staff.

The position is accountable under limited direction to perform and achieve complex procedural, operational, administrative and business support work within an integrated workforce to support and enable Authority command, business and governance functions.

About our Team

The Defence Aviation Safety Authority is responsible to enhance and promote the safety of military aviation through the implementation of a Defence Aviation Safety Program that promotes a generative safety culture and independently assures the effective management of Defence aviation safety risks.

The Defence Aviation Safety Authority is a complex organization consisting of Headquarters elements and five Directorates providing aviation safety assurance and specialist engineering services to the Defence aviation community.

The organization has a strength of around 300 personnel, made up of Australian Defence Force members and Australian Public Servants, and is physically located in Melbourne VIC, Canberra ACT, and Amberley QLD.
