Our Team:

Our Supply Chain Services provide pivotal support to our operations through the global sourcing and procurement of materials & services, positioning Powerlink as a world-class leader in the energy sector.

From our Primary and Secondary Systems through to our Transformers and Reactive Plants, this team links Powerlink to the latest, most sustainable technology, equipment and services that enable our success.

Your Role:

As a key support role within the Category team, you'll work alongside your Category Specialists and Senior Specialists to deliver on the strategic Category plans, providing purchasing support across Secondary Systems Infrastructure, Protection Equipment, Communications Equipment and Control Systems and Equipment.

You'll work largely in SAP and our SRM system to undertake and manage purchase order information, initiate and manage periodic pricing reviews, contract extensions, maintain supplier information, extract reporting and provide general procurement support to the team.

A key contact between our supplier and customer groups, you'll build strong working relationships with your stakeholders, providing accurate and timely advice on process, updates, compliance requirements, actively participating in discussions and negotiations where applicable.

Your Skills & Experience:

With strong reporting skills, you're highly competent in interpreting data to make the relevant recommendations needed for decision-making

You'll present with:

Substantial relevant experience across procurement and materials management with relevant industry experience, preferably in an electricity or other energy sector.
Diploma in Procurement or Supply Chain studies or similar qualifications in a related discipline
Sound knowledge and experience in SAP with a focus in the purchasing modules.
Sound knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Logistics modules.
