- Managing the lead up to and month-end reporting for a number of entities, including journals, accruals and reconciliations;
- Preparing bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies;
- Working closely with operations on a monthly basis to review financial performance, highlight variances and identify areas for improvement;
- Assisting to prepare consolidated financial statements at 1/2 year and full year reporting timetables;
- Supporting the external audit process and providing necessary information;
- Preparing monthly BAS statements and supporting other compliance requirements;
- Updating Fixed Asset registers, and
- Working on a number of automation, process improvement and systems projects.

Description
Our client is an ASX listed, successful multi-site organisation with a Brisbane head office. They operate in a rental property niche and are looking to develop their market share via acquisition and further development in 2024/25. So far this year they have invested significantly in new key leadership (finance) positions, restructured and have embarked on a program of systems, process and automation enhancements.
This Financial Accounting role will work with two other qualified professionals and report to the Group Financial Controller. As a team, there are key financial accounting, reporting and business partnering deliverables required to best support their multi-site operations.
Role Responsibilities will include:
About YOU
You are either CA/ CPA qualified or working towards with solid technical financial accounting and reporting skills. Your experience may have been developed in either a commercial or chartered environment, and you have a genuine interest in property and residential development.
This role will give you exposure to an ASX listed business, the opportunity to work with a supportive professional team of high achievers and provide an interesting career path.
