The Opportunity

Albany Creek Retirement Village is a large retirement living community located in Albany Creek and we looking to build our casual team As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you'll enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment to deliver high-quality meals and service to the residents. You'll be a great communicator with a focus on delivering a high standard of customer service, and enjoy supporting the residents whilst providing a happy social environment. The residents are the heart of everything we do and the reason we come to work every day, their happiness is key to a successful overall operation and we are looking for someone who values this as much as we do.


We are on the hunt for casual superstars to join our team at Albany Creek Retirement Village. Shifts vary from weekday to weekends and may include working throughout the day or in the afternoon If you're a student or someone looking for an extra job to work on an ad-hoc basis, we want to hear from you

You will

  • Provide a high level of Customer Service to the restaurant guests throughout lunch or dinner service
  • Assist in the daily preparation of meals in the kitchen (boost your kitchen skills)
  • Assist with the delivery of food & beverages to restaurant customers
  • Complete setup and packup of all restaurant service events
  • Follow all kitchen and restaurant hygiene practices (which will include general cleaning and washing up)
  • Be a friendly face to all residents
  • Assist working at our neighbouring villages if needed
    (we have a team at Aspley and Bridgeman Downs that would love to have you help them if needed)

What you'll bring

  • A friendly and warm persona with a passion for building relationships and chatting with residents
  • Experience in a fastpaced hospitality, restaurant or customer service environment (highly regarded)
  • Current Police check (required, but we can complete for you)
  • Minimum of two (2) COVID19 Vaccinations (required)
