About the role
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist for a permanent full-time role in our Sourcing Team.

Our procurement team is based across the APAC region, and this role will work closely with various stakeholders including Heads of Business Units, Project Managers, IT teams, and suppliers to ensure the procurement framework is efficient from a speed, cost, and risk perspective.


Key Responsibilities:


  • You will become a trusted advisor to nominated business units and build strong bonds with their owners. This entails working collaboratively with them to identify opportunities and implement sourcing activities to achieve their savings targets
  • You will function as the Procurement point of contact to those business units, and the SME on procurement policies & procedures to ensure they operate efficiently and in a compliant manner
  • Undertake business requirements definition, supply market analysis and commercial risk assessments to inform procurement planning and sourcing decisions
  • Develop and coordinate sourcing activities to establish supply arrangements that meet business needs
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate procurement risks to enable the organisation to meet its obligations and maximise business opportunity
  • Document procurement processes, decisions, and contractual arrangements.

About you- Demonstrated experience in managing categories through the procurement life-cycle - from requirements definition, market analysis, leading sourcing activities to establishing supply arrangements

  • 5 to 10 years in Procurement
  • University Degree in Bachelor of Business (Logistics Supply Chain Management) favouably viewed
  • Strong numerical background
  • Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build relationships and communicate professionally
  • Have enthusiasm and a positive mindset
  • Are committed to working as part of a team
  • Have a capacity to manage complex information and make decisions in a timely manner
