About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Lending Platform Delivery Manager during our digital transformation journey on a permanent basis.

By joining the digital bank of the future, you will be able to make a difference with curiosity and optimism by supporting the delivery of change to lending platforms, adding significant value to our organisation.

With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across the BOQ Group.

As a Lending Platform Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for delivering change of the BOQ Group lending platforms. This includes standard changes, project changes and managing dependent projects across and around the lending platforms.

Furthermore, you will lead and coordinate planning for build activities including high level PI and sprint planning. This will require you to lead a continuous improvement culture, and reduction of waste.

You will also liaise with product owners and business stakeholders to ensure there is a clear view on the backlog of the team, coordinating project related meetings, workshops and showcases.

About you
You will be a collaborative people and outcome focussed professional who thrives on working in a fast-paced environment.

You will have a willingness and commitment to adapt and learn, having solid communication skills on a verbal and written level to articulate technical information and partner with team members.


Having previous experience in agile project methodologies, you will understand how to align individual and team goals, KPIs and actions to the business' priorities.

You will also have the ability to recognize team members' strengths and opportunities for growth to ensure appropriate delegation and development.

Skills in operating autonomously and making sound risk-based decisions are key to success in this role.
