Competitive Salary PackageWe are seeking for an ambitious Construction and Infrastructure Lawyer with 4+ years of post-admission experience to join western Australia's leading, full-service law firm
An Independent Western Australian law firm with 125-year history.
They bring to their clients a specialised local knowledge, local networks, and a firsthand understanding of the Western Australian business community.
This is a great opportunity to join a four-partner practice working on front-end and back-end matters in construction, infrastructure, and mining services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The front-end work will include:
- Preparing tender documents.
- Reviewing contracts for clients and drafting clarification schedules; and
- Drafting and negotiating various forms of contracts (eg constructonly contracts, consultancy agreements, D&C contracts, ECI agreements, and services agreements).
The back-end work will include:
- Providing strategic advice on claims management and contract disputes.
- Representing parties in arbitration proceedings; and
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- With minimum of 4 years' experience as Construction and Infrastructure Lawyer with postadmission experience.
- You will have previous experience within either:
- A mixed front-end and back-end construction team.
- o A front-end construction or projects team.
- You will be encouraged to build and maintain excellent client relationships and collaborate with others to deliver desired outcomes.
- Interest in business development and attending events.
