Summary


A rare leadership opportunity responsible for supporting and coordinating the Southern Clinical Care Specialist (CCS) Team in ensuring the delivery of the highest possible quality of resident care and clinical needs within Regis' Homes.


How you'll make an impact


Reporting directly to our Executive General Manager, Clinical and Care Practice the CCS Manager is a member of a highly effective and efficient leadership team ensuring that the residential homes meet clinical and care, business and service objectives.

The CCS Manager will assist the team with human resources support, performance management, guidance, leadership and tasking for the clinical team.


The Role Responsibilities are as follows and not limited to these only:

  • Plan, schedule and manage the CCS across the Southern region to ensure resident personal and clinical care needs are met
  • Mentor new and existing CCS team members in performing their roles and responsibilities
  • Support CCS in facilitating compliance reporting, including SIRS, Clinical Indicators and NQIP are correctly documented
  • Work and partner with Regional General Manager's (RGM) and Clinical Team to lead & develop a skilled, cohesive team
  • Assist with recruitment, performance management, leadership and tasking for the clinical support team
  • Partner with the RGM's and CCS Team, to ensure that the residential homes meet clinical and care, business and service objectives

About you
As a collaborative and senior member of the Clinical Leadership team, with clinical experience within the aged care sector, you'll have:

  • Division 1 Registered Nurse
  • Post graduate clinical qualification (desired)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Regular travel between residential homes within southern region including interstate
  • Knowledge and experience or qualification in Gerontic nursing
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of the Commonwealth Funding System
  • Previous experience and ability to lead and manage staff in a clinical care setting
  • Demonstrated understanding of the relevant Laws, Acts, Regulations, Charters and Codes of Practice
