A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:

Abides by principles of guest privacy
Strictly abides by standards policies and procedures governing cases of emergency such as fire, bomb scare and other critical situations
Maintains a clean work environment
Attends to all guest queries and requests promptly
Process amendments to reservations such as extensions, early departures, etc
Monitor inventory levels and inform Managers of current and future inventory concerns
Assigns VIP Rooms and manages Out Of Service and Out Of Order rooms
Assist internal/external guests and enhance the Guest Experience
Manage guest profiles to ensure no duplicate profiles exist
Ensure IHG Rewards Club and Ambassador membership details are accurate and attached to guest's profile and reservation
Utilising Guest Arrival Reports, ensure preferences and special requests are attached to the reservation and profil
Communicate and ensure accurate delivery of preferences and special requests with other departments
Liaises with Housekeeping to prioritise room cleaning on day of guest arrival
Prioritise Ambassador and IHG Rewards Club Members room readiness according to membership level for day of arrival
Liaising with F&B to ensure amenities in rooms where applicable
Coordinating room moves
Contact guests in advance if required to confirm reservation requirements/preferences
Enroll IHG Rewards Club and Ambassadors with guests where possibl

What we need from you

Communication skills guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk to
Your problemsolving skills will turn issues into opportunities so every guest leaves with great memories
Fluency in the local language extra language skills would be great, but not essential
Literate and techsavvy you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills
