dynamic _Accounts Administrator.

A permanent, full-time position is now available for an Accounts Administrator to join our team.

This is a diverse and very busy role that will involve all aspects of medical billing, as well as many and varied administrative tasks and projects.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in all aspects of accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking functions, general ledger reconciliations and reporting.
  • Follow up batching on a daily basis ensuring all Medicare claims are processed and manage any exceptions and ensure that they are accurately resubmitted or adjusted where required.
  • Reviewing all patients account for Health funds on a daily basis to ensure accounts are processed in a timely manner and any issues resolved.
  • Ensuring that health fund claims are up to date and lodge regularly with funds.
  • Following up any outstanding accounts and making sure that they are paid.
  • Regular liaison and follow up with Health funds to payments of accounts
  • Regular liaison with clinics in relation to the debtor's/claims situation
  • Perform other adhoc administration and office support tasks, as required.

ABOUT YOU

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills and knowledge of Best Practice Software (preferred)
  • Sound knowledge of Health Insurance, Medicare, DVA billing processes (preferred)
  • Experience within the Healthcare sector (desirable)
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on completing high quality work
  • An ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines
