This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their close-knit and collaborative team on a permanent, part-time basis.
About the role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the core responsibilities of the role include:
- Full-function processing of a weekly Payroll
- Award interpretation
- Leave calculations and processing of backpays
- Processing of terminations, redundancies, and annual leave entitlements
- Processing of Superannuation and Payroll Tax
- Resolving Payroll related queries and inquiries
- Other ad hoc administration projects and tasks within the scope of the role.
About you:
To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following**:
- Demonstrated experience in the position accountabilities
- Prior experience using Xero to process the payroll would be highly advantageous
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisation
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
- A positive and proactive attitude.
